Those look like some pretty intelligent grad students in the first picture.

I figured I'd get this blog started from the alumni standpoint. I graduated in 2006 with my MS and I've been at 3M in Saint Paul since June 2006. I don't have any CMP or cleanability concerns at this moment but when the temperature is 20 below in Minnesota, I can't help but say burr.

To the people still in the LMA aka LMAS, keep up the good work down in 1115.

Note that the LMAS (Laboratory for Manufacturing and Sustainability) was formerly the LMA (Laboratory for Manufacturing Automation)
